Abstract

This article analyzes the main features of complexes of historical and spiritual significance within the framework of pilgrimage tourism and their architectural aspects of their time. The article reveals their territorial, historical, cultural and architectural features using the example of pilgrimage sites located in the Fergana Valley. The article pays special attention to the role of these complexes in the development of pilgrimage tourism, as well as their architectural styles, compositional solutions and craft traditions. The compatibility of pilgrimage sites with modern tourist infrastructure and the issues of their preservation and restoration are also discussed. This analysis provides important practical conclusions for the development of the historical heritage of the Fergana Valley through tourism.
