Abstract
This article distinguishes realia and barbarisms in Uzbek linguistics through nominative necessity, cultural-semantic load, and normative status. The study applies contextual analysis, comparative semantics, and close reading of diverse texts. The results propose a multi-criteria diagnostic model and demonstrate its implications for lexicography, translation practice, and stylistic norm-setting.
